--G Ron Artest scored more points (32) than he had in any game with the Rockets and hit more 3-pointers (six) than he ever had in a game. But after scoring six consecutive Rockets points to give them a 17-point lead with 5:51 left, he made just one of his remaining eight shots.
--F Luis Scola had 16 points and 12 rebounds, his fifth double-double in six games. But on his only two touches down the stretch, he missed a baseline jumper and turned the ball over on a charge.
