Houston Rockets Notes, Quotes 2009-03-02
--Carl Landry came back after missing the past four games with a sprained right ankle. He had 12 points, making 4-of-5 shots.

"Once it got warm, I was pretty much fine," Landry, who made 4-of-5 shots, scoring 12 points, said. "It was a little sore at times, but not bad. I thought it would be a lot worse. In the beginning, I was thinking about it. But after a couple trips up and down the court... there were no worries."

--For the first time since the Feb. 19 deal for Kyle Lowry, the Rockets used Aaron Brooks and Lowry together extensively in the second half, largely to force the Rockets into better ball movement by playing two point guards together.

"As long as we can match up defensively and one of them can guard a bigger guy, we have an advantage there," Rockets coach Rick Adelman said.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We played hard and we played smart. We made a mistake yesterday. We played hard, but our minds weren't working. We played hard, but it wasn't intelligent enough. We fixed it as a team and a coaching staff. I can't see that happening again if we build a lead like that." -- Ron Artest .
